During my time as a professional soccer player in Germany, I experienced chronic symptoms like brain fog and weakness. I often felt as if I were slightly drunk — unable to concentrate or focus — which left me mentally exhausted most of the time. At times, I was so weak it felt like I was carrying a 20-kg vest. These challenges made it extremely difficult to compete and perform at my highest level. Over time, I was able to identify and address the underlying factors behind these symptoms — even while still training and dealing with the daily pressure to perform. As a result, I was able to return to playing soccer with full energy and concentration. And I believe you can find your way forward too — whether you’re struggling with your health while pursuing a professional career or running your own business.
The reason why I retired from professional soccer at the age of 25..
After I overcame my chronic health challenges, I began coaching others on the side while still playing professional soccer. Seeing my clients improve was incredibly fulfilling, and I started to realize there was so much more to life than just the game. Coaching quickly became more important to me, because I felt I could bring real value to the world in this way. Even though soccer had been my life for many years, I knew I needed to fully commit to this new path. Balancing both careers simply wasn’t possible. So in May 2022, I made the decision to retire from professional soccer. From the outside, it may have looked like a crazy move — but deep down I knew it was the right one. Helping others reclaim their energy and potential felt like my true purpose.
What happened after I retired from soccer completely?
I immediately dedicated all my time to helping more people. Focusing 100% on coaching allowed my clients to see even better results. As a certified health coach, I’ve supported people in improving their energy, resilience, and overall wellbeing. Many of the individuals I’ve worked with were struggling with issues like low energy, brain fog, sleep problems, recurring symptoms, and other ongoing health challenges. Through personalized guidance, they found new approaches that helped them feel clearer, stronger, and more in control of their lives again.
